Children Do Better In The Classroom!

Exercise improves cognitive functioning in children just as it does in adults. Unfortunately today’s children spend too much time in front of screens! But exercise is important and can help in the following areas:

1. Cognitive skills and attitudes - such as the ability to concentrate and remember things.

2. Academic behaviors – such as doing homework and attendance.

3. Academic achievement – such as test score and grades.

One study at the University of Finland found that boys who have an active transportation to school, such as walking or riding their bikes had better reading skills. So if you have children and want them to do well in school – exercise just may be a ticket to success!
